We are looking for a Technical Architect to help us build the best real-time logistic platform for our customers, controllers and couriers. This includes improving and scaling our core allocation system, using machine learning to optimise the allocation of jobs to couriers. Your primary responsibility will be to lead key areas of architecture and design of the micro-services powering our platform and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of our infrastructure. A commitment to collaborative problem solving and product quality is essential.

We are looking for a Technical Lead for the Web Applications team of React Developers to lead the team that is developing great user interfaces that integrate tightly with our new and fast-developing state-of-the-art micro-services backend. Working within our agile teams, you will be challenged to keep the Web Applications evolving to keep up with changing feature and client requirements.

A minimum of 5 years experience in web development is required, including experience of React.
We offer the opportunity to develop a sense of ownership over our code and applications and build quality code for the long term as well as making short-term quick wins.

Responsibilities:

  • Setting the agenda and architecture approach for the Web Applications team
  • Take handover from existing Technical Lead who is moving into another role in the company
  • Work within Agile teams to develop front end applications for the backend services that support booking and controlling jobs for couriers
  • Develop a suite of components that can be used across multiple Web Apps
  • Take feedback from users and the UX team to continuously improve the usability of the Web Apps
  • Represent views on technical feasibility of UX designs

We are looking for a permanent member to join and lea the DevOps team. This team is responsible for developing and maintaining the continuous delivery platform as well as aiding in the day to day running of the software platform as a whole.

As this is a cross service team, you will work closely with our front end and backend server side engineering teams, facilitating adoption of the continuous delivery platform as well as working very closely with the QA team ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

We have an exciting new opportunity for a UX/UI Designer to join our team based in a modern Central London location.
At LastMileLink Technologies we have a small but rapidly growing software design team, and now we’re looking for a Mid-weight User Experience designer so we can expand our UX and UI design capabilities.
The ideal candidate will be supporting the Senior UX Designer and the Head of Design in the execution of UX design, testing and research, and the creation of UX assets including wireframes and screen mock-ups.

We are looking for someone who has skills and experience in modern UX best practices, as well as the desire and ability to work the UX designs up into refined UI designs.
Our software supports and enables complex business workflows, so experience working on similarly complex systems and a proven ability to deliver efficient design solutions is desirable. This is a great opportunity for someone to have a real impact on a software suite that is already in use with a large UK client, and one that will be rolling out to thousands of business users in the near future.

Your role is going to be key to designing and refining software UX designs, and working UX designs up into refined UI designs. You’ll be working with a graphic designer on UI designs, and working with a senior UX designer to effectively plan and execute UX testing and research sessions/projects as necessary.

To be really successful in this role, you’ll need to be degree qualified in a relevant Design field. You’ll be skilled in either Adobe XD or Sketch and be an avid Photoshop and Illustrator user with bags of energy and enthusiasm for any tasks you take on.
You’ll be keen to work in a fast-paced start-up environment and will be able to provide examples of your portfolio to date, to support your application.
