The Digital Marketing Manager will be at the forefront of delivering exciting digital presence and for our brand and products in the UK. You will be delivering spectacular digital content that delights and inspires our customers as well as managing campaigns across relevant digital channels to deliver cost effective acquisition of customers.

The role
There are three core strands to your week: 1) delivering inspiring digital content, 2) the effective acquisition of customers and 3) customer retention. This includes building and managing a content plan, managing all digital advertising and developing effective customer retention plan via technology and communication.

Requirements
A savvy and motivated digital marketer, you’re passionate about digital marketing and all things online. You are a full spectrum digital marketer with digital brand building experience through, content marketing, social media, eCRM, and paid media and customer retention. You’ll be managing the budgets for your campaigns and accurately tracking and reporting spend, ROI and other key metrics so you need to have strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.

You’ll have an understanding and appreciation of web technologies and experience of working with content management systems, CRMs and marketing automation software. You will have solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar, Omniture, WebTrends etc) and a working knowledge of ad serving tools and of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.

Backed by one of the world’s largest same day courier companies, we are building a SaaS platform that we believe can genuinely change the way this growing industry works. As an innovation lab created by CitySprint the largest national courier network in the UK, LastMileLink is a startup that is already fully funded.

We are looking for a Technical Architect to help us build the best real-time logistic platform for our customers, controllers and couriers. This includes improving and scaling our core allocation system, using machine learning to optimise the allocation of jobs to couriers. Your primary responsibility will be to lead key areas of architecture and design of the micro-services powering our platform and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of our infrastructure. A commitment to collaborative problem solving and product quality is essential.

We offer the opportunity to work with leading edge techniques and algorithms and use CI/CD to deliver quickly from idea to production and see your ideas in action. Working with the largest sameday courier in the world allows us to see our platform used at scale and the volume of jobs provides the opportunity for new optimisations to best match the demand from customers to the supply of couriers, all in realtime as new orders come in.

You will be able to bring your strong experience in distributed systems engineering at scale to the challenges of matching realtime supply and demand at scale.

  • Take the lead in addressing key areas of architecture and design for our new platform

We are looking for a permanent member to join and lea the DevOps team. This team is responsible for developing and maintaining the continuous delivery platform as well as aiding in the day to day running of the software platform as a whole.

As this is a cross service team, you will work closely with our front end and backend server side engineering teams, facilitating adoption of the continuous delivery platform as well as working very closely with the QA team ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

  • Adding to and maintaining the continuous delivery platform
  • Helping lead the direction of the platform
